Its Chip! No, I revised this and added an HDRI Map to help wth the reflectivity I really like this look better than the other teacup.

Lava Texture Tutorial

I finally got the bump map to work. This was fun! It wasn't hard just time consuming but I learned a lot about texturing. I hope this can be useful for the two week project!

I used the jellyfish tutorial. got bored. changed it up. added bubbles. NOW COMES IN RAINBOW! no squiddy things cause that looked overly compicated.

okay here it is our animatic for the story board part 2. Hope you all enjoy! So pretty much blob comes to life. Hes all like bored and then he sees the giant red button. Oh no. here we go. so anyway he launches himself to the button but ends up hitting the wall instead. peeling off he finally makes it to the button. so he presses it once and creates a brand new friend. then twice. okay two friends. and then he goes button happy and now has a whole state full of blobs. so anyway geek comes in and freaks out so he grabs his handy dandy fire extinguisher but at the last moment has a heartwarming moment and realizes he does have friends in this world.

Blobby Character Sheet

Okay so here it is. This will probably be the better looking one so sorry about that. The scientist is still a bit fuzzy in my head even though Seth seems to have it all down I have no idea what he looks like. So here is Blobby, we still don't have a definite name for him yet. How sad. So I really wanted to have the modelers look at his body shape, especially the feet. They turn upwards a bit as shown in the bottom right hand corner. I did a close up of his face. His eye potrude a bit, and they are a bit almond shaped. His teeth, the right one is always bigger than his left tooth, because hes a mutant, and if you look at his arms they are a bit different length so keep that in mind. He has three fingers. His thumb placement follows human anatomy, and he is an expressive character, a comedian so make sure he looks the part.

Heres my dog. It isnt great. Sorry 'bout that. The muzzle and tail are a bit messed up. I might just model him over my style cause now I know how to do this and I know how to do this but simpler. So I don't know. I did have a lot of problems at the end but hopefully I can go back and correct those later. :)

I have a friend that does amazing music named Brent or his you tube name Conskept. I ask you to check it out. He said that he would love to do some music for our short animation video. His originals are really cool. Try listening to triskept. Its a dubsteppy crazy song that I was listening to and it reminded me a lot of blobby and even inspired me as I was doing concept work.

Okay second attempt at the blob. He is now orange! I wanted to give him a mustache. but i dont know how shapey he should be i didnt do the lower half cause im still thinking and i have other homework to do.

Okay so I just sketched this one out with a couple of faces just to see what you liked...

This is a sketch I did on Paint Tool SAI for our concept of one of the characters, the blob. Not anywhere close to being the blob we may use, just having fun painting on my new program.

By the way he is freaking out because he got tape on his hands. Just in case you were wondering. I think green is a good color on him along with the rounded shape. I think my favorite part are his teeth.

Okay hello, I have some pictures of my disembodied squirrel or Wii squirrel if you please, um, fairly simple to provide a good foundation for my animation as he will be doing a back flip and kicking a ball out of the scene. I haven't textured him yet as I am saving that for later and I modeled him with nurbs. I am currently in the animation phase right now and I must say he looks really good especially on the end part of the scene as I'm playing around with weight and stretching. So...that's all for now.
